I have been working at the Franciscan Renewal Center for 21 years. In addition to my work at the Center, I also find time to write. My first book for children is published and was released on March 5, 2010. It is the first in a series of 5 and the title is Finding Tweetie.
Being a former grade school teacher of language arts, it was a natural interest and passion of mine to write.
In my work at the Casa, I sometimes do more editing than writing. I thank God every day for the gift and talent of writing. I enjoy the connection with the Center as my faith and spirituality are very important to me. It is a great place to be for meditation, prayer and reflection. I am lucky to be able to connect my work with my faith and I am always happy to share information about the Center with others so that they can experience this wonderful oasis of peace and prayer in the desert.
